In this article, you should find at least one idea that will make you $100 today.

Nowadays, there are so many different ways you can make some extra money online that it’s almost overwhelming. You can make money by renting out your gear or car, watching tv, and there’s even an app that will pay you for losing weight.

This is the first part of a larger series that I’m writing on making money online, side hustling and passive income. In fact, side hustling is probably the biggest reason why I started this blog, to share with you exactly how I’m able to support myself through income made online.

It would be so great to have an income from one job that covers all of our expenses. Sadly for the majority of the population, this is just not the case.

A growing percentage of millennials are looking for 2nd and even 3rd jobs and side-gigs. Earning a little money on the side will make life a little easier.

Having a supplemental income in addition to your day job means that you don’t need to live paycheck to paycheck anymore. It will provide you with

    • Freedom to start planning your dream vacation
    • Earlier retirement
    • funds to pay off debt
    • $$$ for college
    • Investment for passive income
    • Padding in between jobs (ehemm, any other freelancers and writers out there?)

    1. Take Surveys & Get Paid

Companies are willing to pay money in order to get feedback from consumers. They’re easy to join and free to use.

I’ve compiled a list of legitimate survey sites that pay well and that I’ve been using for over 4 years now. These are all legit, non-scammy options to pad your income. Take it into consideration that if any survey site asks for money upfront – run! I’ve never had to pay any of these sites for money.

I recommend signing up for these two survey sites, Surveyjunkie and Swagbucks first, to see if this is a side hustle you are interested in.This is because each survey company may only send a few surveys your way each month, so the more you sign up for then the more money you may be able to make.

I love love love Survey Junkie! I get gift cards from Survey Junkie all the time and it’s pretty amazing. It’s my favorite site that I get rewarded for giving my opinion and completing surveys. Survey Junkie is a legitimate survey site that has a 4 out of 5 stars review on TrustPilot and an A+ review on BBB (Better Business Bureau is the government entity that rates businesses on their trustworthiness and business practices.)

You can earn $5 just for creating an account and filling out your info. After you create your account there should be a bunch of new surveys available for you to start completing. Different surveys will reward you with different point amounts depending on the length and time required. They typically last anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes.

Here’s the breakdown of how much money you can make by completing a Survey Junkie survey:

    • Product testing: $5-$50
    • Online focus group: $25-$100
    • In-person focus group: $25-$150
    • Phone Survey: $5-$100

Once you’re done, points can be deposited directly into your Paypal account (with no transfer fees) or in the form of a gift card (only for US residents). Your survey points have no expiry date and you can keep them for as long as you want before you cash out.

Swagbucks is more lit then a Las Vegas casino. Go visit their website, and you’ll see what I’m talking about.
