Following the news of the passing away of the popular comic icon Babatunde Omidina (a.k.a. Babasuwe) who passed away on Monday 22, some prominent celebrities have not only shared their condolences on a great loss in the movie industry in Nigeria, but also attested to his good works while alive.

1. Yomi Fabiyi

Fellow actor Yomi Fabiyi of course is one the artists who have celebrated the late comedy king Baba Suwe while alive and also have shared more condolence messages about him following his demise.

Yomi Fabi attested to how Baba Suwe had been the first to understand his plight at the early start of his (Yomi) movie career, how he had shown him a few tips and also accommodated him.

According to Yomi Fabiyi, he had not only made the family happy through his comedy skits but has helped the upcoming generation to develop their God-given talents.

The popular journalist is also among those who immediately took to his Facebook page to pay tribute to the late Baba Suwe, talking of how he had put smiles on everybody's faces through his unique style of comedy.

Babajide did not fail to also defend the late veteran actor on certain allegations made against him as he believes Baba Suwe was at some points degraded.
