According to Information gathered from a reliable source, Olayomi Koiki, spokesman for Sunday Igboho, in a statement has called on the government of Benin Republic to allow the secessionist leader, Sunday Igboho, to receive urgent medical attention.
Based on these notes, Shehu Sani, who is a Nigerian senator, an author, playwright, and a human rights activist, has taken to his official Twitter handle to state that no matter the offense Sunday Igboho has committed, the federal government should ensure that he is safe and well cared for.
While sharing on his official Twitter handle, the President of the Civil Rights Congress of Nigeria, Shehu Sani said, "No matter the offense of Mr Igboho to the Nigerian State, it's incumbent on the federal government to provide him consular services and ensure his safety and release. Not just him, but any citizens held in a foreign country is entitled to this".
